MGS4 will have trophy patch

Fans of the game have repeatedly sent e-mails and tried to convince Kojima Produtions to release a trophy patch for the game. On August 7, 2009, Kojima Productions' Sean Eyestone replied by saying:

"I just wanna tell everybody out there right now that your voices are being heard and that we're not ignoring you. We hear everything that you are saying. It's just that we can't say anything just yet." "But as soon as we have something to say, we will announce it. So, if we can just ask everyone to just be patient, we will give you an answer. But right now we can't say anything. So we just ask for everyone's understanding with that and just ask for everybody to remain patient and we'll let you know."

This has led to speculation that an updated version of the game, a tradition which dates back to the original Metal Gear Solid, will be released alongside a Trophy Patch.

PS3 Getting Bundled With Final Fantasy VII Advent Children Blu-ray Next Week

This bundle will only be available temporarily. The film just happens to release on June 2, which is the same day as Sony's E3 press conference so there's a chance this is a bullet point on SCEA prez Jack Tretton's speech notes. For those of you who saw Advent Children Complete's release as a reason to pick up a PS3, this is an offer you can't refuse.
